Patricia Rodríguez started Signified in 2016 with the aim of bringing together her brand strategy background with her content creation skills and editorial insight.
Back in 2000, her career started agency-side with household names such as Pentagram Design, Landor and Saffron Brand Consultants with the late Wally Olins.
She then went on to work client-side, in the capacity of GEO Creative Director at Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, at the time of the iPhone launch in the European markets. After a stint at The Partners WPP, she joined ASOS during the online retailer's drive for international expansion.
Over the last few years, she has worked as a freelance consultant client-side with in-house teams (Amazon, Farfetch, Inditex) as well as partnering with other creative agencies (Mucho, Digilant, Konsulat Design) to deliver brand strategy projects for a wide variety of clients across the lifestyle, health and innovation sectors: Harvard DCE, Wiley Publishing, Environmental Change Institute University of Oxford, DocMorris, Foschini Group, Amadeus...
As a writer and contributor, she has collaborated extensively with lifestyle publications like Vanity Fair, Marie Claire or Babelia, the literary supplement of El País newspaper and has written for art publications by the V&A Museum and Goldsmith's University. She is also the author of several works of literary fiction published in her mother tongue, Spanish.
